Happy Thanksgiving!

We're stuffed! We turned on the generator in the Wal-mart parking lot and cooked a turkey. We had red potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, brussel sprouts, AND homemade pumpkin pie! Yummy! The only thing we missed....and we REALLY missed...was family and friends. Kind of quiet here. We love all of you, and absolutely missed being together for this holiday. Next year I get to be the hostess (if Hank will help me with the turkey)! We talked to a lot of you, which helped, but I'm getting a little homesick! Love to you all.

We are also stuffed. Going to 2 other houses for Thanksgiving should
have given us an excess in calories.
It was so good to hear your voices. Cooking the works is no small thing and expecially the homemade pie. Luckily we had the kids overnight so I could share some of the treats with them. Of course, we had pumpkin pie for dessert.
Sophie is really into pretend writing. She made a menu for everyone. I am pushing and having her sound out the words in children's spelling....trce. She finally said "Gramma" and you can just imagine the tone of voice. The kids really do just want me to be gramma but sometimes I can't help it.
Can't wait to hear about Philadelphia. Enjoy!!!
Love from Eugene,
Caroline and Keith

Hi parents,

We really missed you at the coast for Turkey Day! It was so fun having you down there with us last year after Thanksgiving. Next year will be here before we know it!! And then there will be a baby...crazy!! I love you tons and miss you like crazy. I can't wait until early Christmas...Dad and Elsie, we will be thinking of you. :) Hey, Dad you need to figure out 3-way calling so we can read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas from Seattle, Springfield, and where ever you are....work on that!!

Love you,
CK
